Note - Feb was the first month in a while that I've focused on ranked Eternal, and I played this to Masters. I wasn't tracking winrate, but it has to have been around 75% or higher, starting in Silver (not that rank has any affect on which opponents you face).
I renamed this to "Midrange" in quotes, because the deck doesn't really have a category. It adapts to whatever it needs to be against each opponent. Sometimes, it's aggro. Sometimes wide midrange. Sometimes tall midrange. Sometimes value. Sometimes control.
To pilot this deck effectively, you want to get down something that cares about relics - specifically Cabal Scavenger, Tinker, Rat Cage, or Cryptic Master. Then start playing relics. You just need 1 pip of each color - no double influence cards, so play Marks without the extra influence if you already have it.
There are quite a few combos that can go off. One fun one is playing relics when Scavenger and Rift Siphon are both on the board. Another is playing Honey Porter when any of the four cards above are on the board. Especially if you can follow it up with Creation Project.
A niche combo is playing Rat Cage on turn 1, followed by Relay Point on turn 2, followed by Veena on turn 3, then activate the Relay point for a pair of 5/5's. Board should be 3x rats, Veena, and a 2/1, along with two 5/5 dudes. (Credit to Avnomke for this combo, though I don't think I've ever managed to pull if off exactly like that.)
It's working very well for me, and it's fun, so I thought I'd share it. The only thing that I have any consistent trouble against is any deck that has a lot of relic hate and/or a lot of silence. Both of those are very bad for this deck. Just about everything else is winnable. I have not been tracking my winrate, but it's quite high. I'd say I'm generally winning roughly 4 games out of 5, or even 5 games out of 6.
Edit - I made some changes to the cards. The changes are noted in the change section of the deck posting. Relay Point and Cryptic Master should be pretty clear why they were changed.
Edit 2: I swapped over to a Condemn market, which is MUCH more mana efficient, and also gives some really great niche answers to certain decks. Also makes Infinite Hourglass more accessible, by pulling it out of the main deck.

Drop Awakened Student, it doesn't do anything for this deck & it's not nearly good enough to stand on its own. Replace it with Cryptic Master for extra relic synergy.
See if you can fit in Relay Point. It has excellent synergy with Rat Cage & Veena, Rising Queen - two 5/5 sentinels on turn three is insane.
Swap the tomes & banners out for 4x Xultan Conclave, Combrei Painting, & Stonescar Painting.
