Updated 6/4: Shields Up

This deck has been updated to adapt to the prevalence of Riftfeeder Wasp. It's got plenty of early drops to contest against aggro until we can win with our sticky Aegis units. The deck focuses on targeted removal rather than board wipes. The market is not an integral part of the game plan here. Feel free to tinker with it to your taste.

This deck is really well-positioned (as of the moment I write this) in Exped ranked. Face Aegis does a ton of work against hunts, Ziat, Steelwarren Reeve, and Feed the Hecaton. Most players are not carrying the right combination of answers to deal with General Fiera. The unit aegises frustrate Hooru control.

Note that Mila, Exchange Student is treated as a power card in this deck. We're not at all built to take advantage of her abilities, but Mila gives us more gas than a sigil if we draw her late-game. When inscribing her, keep in mind that we need three primal more than we need two justice.

I found myself most often using Lethrai Marauder for the extra 2/1 body. This deck can get pretty aggressive against a slow start by our opponent, and the extra body helps contest early fire units.

Parliament Elder isn't really a critical piece for us, but it often baits removal. If you want to tinker, I suggest start by dropping those.

I have been happy with Duelist's Blade every time I've drawn it. Might bump it to a 3-of. See how you like it.

I typically play Fiera and Protective Crow last even if I get to their power on schedule. They become really devastating once our opponent has burned a lot of gas dealing with other stuff.
