This is a deck built around Praxis Trove
and Shrine to Karvet
. It works a lot like its Menace cousin, with a few key differences:
replaces Know When to Hold 'em
as the 1-mana spell. While this keeps us from using Krull, Xumuc Occultist
it does let us play Shrine to Karvet in the main deck. The addition of Rat Cage
, Amber Lock
, and other relics were also influenced by this choice.
- Display of Destruction
replaces Display of Menace
as the 3-mana spell. The main draws of Display of Destruction are its ability to be used as a token generator for Shrine and Kindling Carver
, interaction for 3-health units, used to trigger Trove 1, use as a sacrifice trigger for Shrine, and/or use for nuttier combo turns through having more power.
- Market Eremot's Machinations
. Machinations is a fantastic card you can't play in FPS variants of Trove lists, and one of the best features of this variant is to trigger Trove 1, 2, and 3 all at the same time Machinations.
Just a note: if you decide to replace the Sear
or Send an Agent
, do not run Devour
. There's a bug where playing Calibrate into Broken Contract
, and the Soldier plays a Devour through Praxis Trove, the cards you draw with Devour will be bottomed instead of drawn.
