Cards & Reasoning
- Grenadin Drone
: not a secret that this card is one of the best one-drops in Fire, in our case it also what we want, not only placing a 2 power on board on turn 1, but split this power on two bodies.
- Rat Cage
: one of our main repeatable sources to generate tokens in a mid-to-long run.
- Lethrai Hideaway
: 2 power 2/1 body is not the best card to have, but if we manage to get Rat Cage
a turn before this will be a much better. Also worth of noting that Lethrai Intimidator
is also an elf and can be buffed later on.
- Tend the Flock
: weak card by it's own, but early on it can absorb aggression from opponent's side and later on it will be additional 3-6 damage that can be done. With 13 buff cards this is actually quite powerful, coz 3 for 1 is a great.
: 3-for-1 card, nothing to say more.
- Light 'em Up
: cheap way to get so needed buffs on early turns or play as second buff a turn to get for a finishing blow on opponent. Also this one can be played on a main to be able to attack with Sheep tokens you have and bait opponent to not block, coz we played our buff for turn and then play second one. Great way to get additional 3-6 damage on turn 5, play Lethrai Intimidator
+ Sigil + Light 'em Up
(even fast) and you will get to good amount of damage.
: common sense in decks who go for go-wide strategy. Not 4 because we want to evenly split those with Light 'em Up
- Barbarian Camp
: permanent buff for our units + generates rats on play, if Rat Cage
- Cabal Repeater
: great addition from the new set, quite aggressive and buff our board transforming our crowd in hard to block attackers.
- Pitfall Trap
: Possible removal for 1 life units and more important card cycling mechanism as well as a synergy with Rat Cage
- Rindra's Choice
: Removal and negate option if needed.
: common sense card in Fire decks.
- Wisdom of the Elders
: best draw in game by far, re-fills our hand starting from turn 5, coz before you want to apply pressure on opponent by going wide.
