Information

Yes, the name is a bad pun of the famous James Bond quote, roast me for it if you want or suggest a better name.

Goal:
The goal is to create a budget deck viable of making it to master rank. It's pretty good so far and fun to play for a budget deck in general. Very satisfying to drop multiple large sentinels early on and just push attack.

Concept and Card Explanations
The idea of this deck is to drop large sentinels as quick as possible with the help of explorers giving draw ability and maximum power.
- Trail Maker helps in gaining influence as well as building up power ahead of the curve early on. Try to draw them in starting hand
- Pompous Historian provides great draws and cycles through your deck faster with the hopes that every turn you draw a card that can be put to use immediately or soon after and not draw lots of power cards back to back. Other cards that help with drawing through the deck are Moonstone Vanguard and Gear Master (if situation allows it, play before playing sentinels to lure out removal cards and/or activating its draw). You could also use talir's intervention on this card to resummon its affect.
- Mysterium Orb is one of the key cards in this deck, it allows for building lots of power and gives your monolith guardian the 7/7 buff needed to play early on for 4 mana (among other relics in the deck of course). With this relic in play its even easier to play multiple sentinels in one turn, for example bonding Scourstone Sentinel may only require 4 to 2 mana depending on who it bonds with (sometimes even less, if it was drawn with Journey Guide in play)
- Monolith Guardian is another key cards in this deck, 4 mana for a 7/7 drop is the whole idea of getting large units early on. The additional relics and draw potential should allow the required buff majority of the time
- Talir's Intervention is great for versatility. You can silence enemy threats, or save your sentinels if it was targeted with kill spells or something
- Sandstorm Titan is a good early drop for 4 mana and 5/6. Helps with early protection from aggro units. If you do not have this card, this can be traded with another sentinel of 4 or 5 mana but the stats will not be as good.
- The other cards in the deck are more of support cards helping with the concept of the deck and maybe self explanatory. For example, torch for early clear or keeping sentinels alive in combat, Moondial relic for draw potential and Monolith Guardian buff if you don't have any other relics, Stirring Sand to bring back dead sentinels etc.
- Cards in the market are generally support cards. Novaquake Titan is an end game finisher and silencer, easy to accomplish early on if Mysterium Orb is in play. Pit of Lenekta is a good alternative if you don't have a lot of sentinels in play to bond Novaquake Titan with and still looking for large units, but not required (I found that it was rarely used for me)

Poor attempt at trying to keep match history and notes:
Log Update#1 - No notes taken last few games but currently a 13W / 7L in match history at diamond 3 rank.
Log Update#2 - Still lazy to take notes about each match, but per latest match history on this deck 7W / 13L, at diamond 2 rank somehow though
Log Update#3 - 8W / 12L not sure why having more losses now made me diamond rank 1
Log Update#4 - Made it to Feb2019 Master's Rank! per match history, 12W / 6L

Attempt at change log with notes:
0.1 - Initial draft version release after a few tweaks while deck was unlisted.
0.2 - Removed 2 purify to add in 2 more talir's intervention. I noticed that I was using purify more for the silence than the damage itself, so sub'ing them in for talir's intervention instead allowed me to still use the silence but with more options. Also decided to craft 1 more sandstorm titan to replace timeworn sentinel. I'll lose the draw ability but hoping the cheaper mana cost will allow more defense and play more drops early on
0.3 - Removed 1 Journey Guide which felt excessive and replaced it with 1 Dispel for more silence and draw a card
1.0 - No card changes, but updated deck information. It is no longer a 'work in progress' since the goal was achieved!! Pretty content with the way the deck is currently looking so far (we'll see what needs tweaking soon as we try to climb up rank).
