how do you feel about sifar's less all-in iteration, cutting Hesitate for Nocturnal Creeper and Backlash in the market?

have you ever considered maindeck Backlash at any point? maybe a 2/2 split with Hesitate?

and finally, when is it correct to grab Mirror Image? because i feel like i've almost never grabbed the card but I also think I'm just piloting it poorly.

Glad you're enjoying it. 4 Hesitate may be too many, its only good in some matchups, but I wouldn't cut all of them. The main situation I'd rather have backlash is against torch. Mirror Image is to mitigate flood or provide a play next turn and still be able to get Maul. The market is mostly for getting Maul, so no matter what else you play it won't be used that often.

This deck is really fun. Nightfall is so great by both forcing enemy to draw more cards and smooth our draws.

Yes, night finally has a good payoff. I've played feln, elysian, and TPS maul, this one has felt the strongest to me. Rarely get influence screwed since the requirements are so low.

Your Night mauler looks decent, I'd just switch the seeks and envelops for Initiate and Gloaming Wisp.
