After a 5-6 month hiatus from Eternal where I last cracked Master rank with a Mono Fire Oni Dragon build, I return with another Mono build -- this time, with Justice.
Went 14-3 in Diamond rank with this.
Deck composition inspired by one I witnessed Lemonstyles play in a tournament, though I changed some cards -- dropped some of the weapons and neutral power cards, added
Unwavering Exorcist and
Unseen Commando.
MVP of this deck was definitely
Copperhall Bracers -- damage invulnerability (for 1 extra power) and drawing a power just turbocharge your turns. Opponent isn't sure whether or not to chump or take a significant round of damage. Aegis plus weapons on a single unit was often a ticket to victory. Yeah, there are Shadow decks with Vara but by the time she makes her appearance I often could fly over for finishing damage.
Sealed Writ seems like a so-so card but it won a number of games, as an 8 damage finisher.

Problem is -- while this isn't a hyper-aggro deck, it's still needs to dent the opponent early. Baby Icaria is a better card overall but Ironfist Chancellor provides much more damage early on. And it might be surprising, but it drew.a lot of hate from opponent that seemed to prioritize removal on it, even when it was a 2/2. Maybe jolted by all the text on the card and fretting over weapon being pasted on next turn. Try it -- certainly, with a mono deck, getting the +3/+2 Influence bonus comes quicker than multi-faction builds. But the only other Valkyrie in the deck is Valkyrie Enforcer.
