Information

This is the homebrew deck I took to masters this season. I enjoyed playing Hooru control when Homecoming came out, but after a while the weakness to aegis units and Zal Chi, Herald of War made me try out a different track utilizing Vara, Vengeance-Seeker and Feeding Time. I tried many variations, but this is the one that clicked and took me from Diamond III to Masters over about a day and a half of play time. While climbing, I did run into a few similar lists so I imagine there are some more floating around out there by now. Nonetheless, this one worked well for me.

Some notes on card choices:
0x Vanquish - I initially played with these when switching over from Hooru, but they eventually all changed into other removal. They're efficient for answering big threats, but with access to Slay and Desecrate, the downside is just too restrictive.

2x Desecrate - I've swapped back and forth between this, Suffocate, and Annihilate. This deck's worst matchups are aggro, so the 3 damage can be relevant and it can also kill your weapons from time to time. However, the versatility seems to be worth it for the time being. I may be trying out Annihilate again though.

4x Strategize, Wisdom of the Elders, and Honor of Claws - Our card draw suite. Strategize is important for hitting the early power drops and getting 8-drops out of our hand. Wisdom is a given in this style of deck. I've tried everywhere frow 0-4 Honor of Claws and when I had fewer copies I always wanted more so I ended up with all four. The card is great, and having so much card advantage means that you can out grind pretty much any deck in the format. One of my matches was against a TS midrange deck with Dawnwalkers, Moonstone Vanguards, Azindel, Revealed, and Dizo's Offices. It took me down to 5 cards left in deck, but I still won through all of his recursion and value.

4x Auric Runehammer, 3x Stormhalt Knife - Great answers to aegis units, Vargo Redclaw, and opposing weapons.

2x Feeding Time - Often just kills your opponent's best thing, but comes in clutch against Zal Chi, Herald of War, Vargo Redclaw and Mokhnati, Restored. 4 power is a bit expensive for what is often just a slay, so 2 feels like the right number.

2x Mokhnati, Restored - When this was first released I tested a primal market with the bear and it overperformed. Likely the best primal finisher right now.

0x Regent's Tomb - While this is a solid mid-game value piece, this deck already has tons of value and when I tested it I was unimpressed due to issues protecting it as well as quite a bit of face aegis. Worth trying out again, though I think as a market card.

The Market
Vision of Austerity - Relic removal is excellent right now, not much else to say here.
Eilyn's Choice - Great flexibility, great card.
Korovyat Palace - Solid value against other unit-light decks and can provide a game-winning swing against more aggressive opponents as a 9-power play with Hidden Road Smuggler.
End of the Story - In my opinion, this card is the reason to run a Justice market. Having access to an extra wrath is very powerful.
Martyr's Chains - While not underperforming, this has been the least-searched for card and can often be win-more. Going forward, I will be likely be testing out a Regent's Tomb in its place. If I'm not happy with that, I may simply play a Hooru Banner

Any updates to this deck since dark frontier dropped? This is one of my fav decks ever.
LANshark Eternal Version: 1.46.5
I haven't had the chance to play much Dark Frontier, so I haven't made any updates. Sorry :/
Tonychou Eternal Version: 1.45.6
regent's tomb main should be better than palace for two reason:1.you don't have a decent number of units to withstand; 2.you have vara.

No Desecrate?

I tried it when I had a bit more shadow in the deck (Hidden Road Smuggler), but I found it to be both hard to cast on occasion as well as not working well with the weapons.
