Sweet deck! Though I gotta say teacher of humility looks a little weird here. Did it play out ok? You have 11 non time sources of power (and 8 crests) which seems like way too many to play her consistently on turn 2. Maybe something like ripknife assassin could work better.

Hey, just wanted to let you know, I've been testing Ripknife all day today in the 2-drop slot replacing Teacher. Feels really good. Thanks for the suggestion! The warcry isn't as impactful as Weights, but that deadly has made a lot of boardstalls which gives me enough time to hit HOTV and Aziendel and take over.

She was a concession to the metagame. Knowing that Almost would surely show up with a combo deck, Talir Mask, and there would be an abundance of cookbooks I wanted some way to punish the card draw decks. I can safely say Teacher was relevant once. So I think her and obelisk are first on the chopping block moving forward and the market also needs work. I can think of only one time I merchanted for the banner so that will also be replaced by the next time I run this deck in a tournament setting.

One last point regarding this 80. The power base is NOT optimal at all. I forgot to craft and add crests of chaos before the event started and it wasnt ran through a power base calculator just what "looked about right" so take that for what it's worth.
