This deck is one that I built specifically around Shadowlands Borderscout. I didn't expect it to be good, but it's actually insanely good! The idea is to use the early warcry units to hopefully buff up Shadowlands Borderscout, then after the opponent has used their removal on your aggressive stuff, you slam Shadowlands Borderscout and refill your hand! The synergy with Ornate Katana is great as well. Worst case an unbuffed Shadowlands Borderscout comes down, and when you are able to attack with it, you play Katana and then swing, drawing you 4 cards! Which for an aggro deck is absurdly good. Give this deck a try, you will not be disappointed!

Ha, ha. I can't believe it. I threw this together, fought a gauntlet, right after winning one just before, and it took the whole thing, boss and all. There's something to this deck, even though, it's not the best at PvP.

That's awesome! Yeah, it can definitely struggle against the best decks that are so prevalent right now. It probably needs to splash another faction to shore up those bad matchups. Glad it worked for your gauntlet though!

With the Ankle Cutters out, I feel like torrential downpour is pretty bad for the market. Rockslide is probably better.

Interesting. I'm curious why you think so. I see the benefit of both cards for sure. I just think downpour gives you a window to punch through tokens or scrappy hour strategies in the late game, where rockslide would not. Both good cards though!

I love borderscout it’s definitely one of my favorite cards from Defiance! Is warhelm better in the maindeck to try and give it charge for multiple scouts instead of just once from the market?

Yes, that is absolutely true! It's also very good on crow or crunch so it really just fits in nicely with the deck and pressures the opponent.

Definitely worth a try! Warhelm also works well with the aggro plan if you don't have any borderscouts yet. You could replace the scepters and maybe trim a permafrost for 3 warhelm.

Slight edit to the original list. I've been tuning this deck and found that ankle cutter isn't necessary or nearly as impactful as dusk raider so I've swapped those out. Shadowlands Borderscout with berserk is incredible.
