Why vara choice over Dark Return?

I didn't build the deck, but it's definitely a tempo move. The way you win with this deck is just constant pressure from all sides, and Dark Return only applies pressure once you have already hit your top end, and at that point the deck has most likely virtually won or lost the game already.
