Hi guys!

Today I present to you! Let the drums crash!

My version of the Sentinel! Many have seen versions of this deck a few months ago, the deck used the discard mechanics to play Big Sentinels in the void and bring them to the field using Stirring Sand, the deck had infinite draws and used basically the Nocturnal Observer to discard the Sentinels and then relive them.

With the release of FOA new cards have come up that give us support to remove the Primal from the deck and focus only on Praxis, so I think it improves our gameplan, making the previous non-action turns in some unpleasant surprises for the opponent.

To make Journey Guide in the first turn and have mana to play Feed the Flames discarding any Sentinel pro void gives us 2 Flamefangs costing 0, then we will have to turn 3 a good amount of threats for our opponent to solve.

Learned Herbalist is another card that helps us a lot in the gameplan and still provides us with precious extra life points while we execute our evil plans to conquer the World ... oops ... I remembered the cartoon Pink and the Brain now, we'd better go back to Eternal.

Auralian Merchant is our salvation, it is no secret that this is one of the best merchants in the game, it speeds up our mana, has a great body to block aggro decks and still gives us a range of interesting possibilities in the market. Sandstorm Titan and Stirring Sand are obvious options for our bujigangas shop, they are important parts of the deck and it would be a mistake not to increase the chances of buying them. The other choices are not unanimity, I just thought they are good resources for adverse situations, Devoted Theurge for those matches where we need all the features to get alive in 6 or 7 turns, Shatterglass Mage to deal with that relic or annoying weapon and last but not least, Xenan Obelisk for when our table needs to be more robust than that of the opponent.

Recombobulate surprised me in a positive way, the ability to use it from the top of the deck and reduce by half or even more the cost of a Heart of the Vault or Great-Kiln Titan is something to take into consideration.

Now the suspicious card from the list, I figured we'd need a B plan if our Sentinels were not pareos for an infinite number of removals, endless blocks from a horde of little rats in the form of Grenadins and other despicable beings who stubbornly populate the field, Yes, I do not like tokens, so at least we can have a single card, two respectable Sentinels, usually over power and endurance 5, I think the list can support some copies of Moment of Creation and I'm testing them on main, as the last solution would put only one in the Market.

Good for now is that, suggestions are always welcome, I have tested the list a little, there is plenty of room to evolve.

Edit: Some changes suggested by Ilyon in one of his deck techs, I always tried to make Brenn, Chronicler of Ages work on my Moment lists and even in the old Sentinels, I do not know how I forgot about him, thank you Ilyon. I increased the number of Lavablood Goliath, it seems interesting to have this more open range of options for Sentinels.

Sorry for the bad English, blame Google Translate!

Hi guys!

Hoje eu lhes apresento! Que rufem os tambores!

A minha versão do Sentinel!

Me desculpem pelo ingles ruim, culpem o Google Translate!

Imo, more copies of Lavablood Goliath are just better at least versus this infinite chumpers decks (overwhelm) AND versus removal piles (the etb dmg adds up really fast), it even kills some annoying flyers. The card also adds more to the original plan of Stirring Sand.

De resto ótimo artigo, bora testar!

I think it might be interesting to downgrade one of the copies of the Great-Kiln and put in another Lavablood, I'll make the change and then post the results.

So, I've tested more this list and am putting some good results on ladder (just playing this acctually beacause it's really fun). With some changes:
-4 feed the flames (it can just be cast turn 2 and the snakes was so underwhelming vs almost every opponents, was always holding them to merchants, also never had the goldfish curve so improved to something a bit better)
+3 Hotblood barbarian (fells bad too but needed the discard replacement and it played out much better, the 1 dmg dealing with aegis before reanimating a lavablood happend more than once)
-4 Brenn (not impressive as a blocker in a world of alessi turn 1, and the ability was not ramping with enough consinstency)
+1 purify (more interaction to stop losing turn 3/4)
+2 scorpion wasp (same as purify and wasp is just awesome right now vs this time or justice aggro/midranges without torch, just putting weapons on huge things or kiling with carnosaurus, there is a lot of people messing with FJS icaria too so...)
3 moment of creation main and 1 on merchant (the card fells better here than in any moment deck i've played,, the sentinels doesnt go so huge but paired with the reanimated sentinels your opponents can easily run out of removal for all treats).
+1 find the way (guess with more interaction and 4 moment we need to find the necessary power...)

What do you think? Looking more like a praxis midrange going over the top not losing to the other mids and having a combo turn 4 to steal some wins, also I'm playing 4 Great-kiln and 2 Lavablood (which is killing a lot of people, maybe the numbers should be 2 kiln 4 lavablood, or 3-3).

I liked the hotblood, I'm going to test the changes and I'll come back and talk like they were, I kept some feed the flames because I understand that the deck needs more discards, thanks for the feedback.
