To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Knucklebones. The playstyle is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical card advantage and tempo most of the plays will go over a typical player's head. There's also FJP's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- its personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these cards, to realise that they're not just good- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Knucklebones truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humor in Knucklebone's existential catchphrase "I'mma gonna bone you" which itself is a cryptic reference to LightsOutAce's epic Calcium Control. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as LightsOutAce's genius wit unfolds itself on their computer screens. What fools.. how I pity them.

Is Flamestroker to slow/expensive? I've been plpaying Control recently and that card has caused me to autoconcede quite a few games, very rarely win out once it is played. Obviously it is very expensive and probably should go in its own deck, but I just wonder.

Flamestoker is bad against everything except glacial, do-nothing control like this one. FJP control can run whatever you want as the win condition (Knucklebones, Icaria/Rise/Flamestoker), I like Knucks because it takes up the least deck space and is the funniest.

I'm trying to make Knucklebones work too.

I like Justice for Harsh Rule but I like Shadow for Steward of the past, Azindel's Gift & Extract.

And I really like Rain of Frogs, seems very good vs Control but maybe a bit too cute. Always a pleasure to land it though :)

Overall I'm trying to be able to answer any kind of threat but it's very difficult of course (which is how it should be ^^).
