Information

Hello and welcome to another Grenadin deck! (it's basically the only deck I can play well)

New Grenadin Cards

Jawbone Greatsword - Good removal for problematic aegis units such as shelterwing rider and champion of cunning. Tribute easily achievable here.

Jekk, Lone Gun - Good removal via tribute and great stats.

Played around with these cards a lot since the release of set 4 and in my opinion they are obviously good however they do not contribute to the core essence of the deck and are more like a luxury that has been enabled by the additional space that markets have created in the deck. For that reason I have only included 1 of each in the deck.

Kaleb things

I have always liked Kaleb in grenadins and to that end I prefer to use the Ixtun Merchant in order to ensure that Kaleb is available to me should the right scenario present itself. So often my opponent plays some fliers and ignores my grenadins waiting patiently on the ground, then all of a sudden you drop Kaleb and with just 4/5 other units you could OTK an opponent. Since the release of set 4 Kaleb has become a little weaker with the introduction of spell craft weapons. You can utilize spell craft effects if you have the power available and the dream is to get Gleaming Shield and pay an additional 2 power to play mirror image on your Kaleb :) Also Hooru Pacifier doesn't seem to be popular atm in TJP/Hooru so Kaleb is viable against those decks right now.

Market

Market has your standard things - unit removal, relic removal, anti control and top end finishers in it. Having the fire market feels great having an almost guaranteed gear cruncher every game. I chose to not put combustion cell in the market because it is not essential to the deck unlike the super fun kennadins deck. Combustion cell is nice to have but not critical and by the time you market for it and play it you will likely be at 5 power and maybe have drawn another one anyway.

Gauntlet

For my gauntlet farming brothers out there this deck also works great. High consistency and a bit quicker than other grenadin decks thanks to Kaleb. You can swap out the Flame Stoker and the Bore in the market for cards of your liking when playing in gauntlet because these cards aren't necessary.

Hope you enjoy the list and if you choose to leave feedback I will try to respond within 24 hours. Thanks for reading.

Ever consider a Flame Blast in the market? I have one in mine and it's given me the reach to win some games that would've been out of reach otherwise.

I can see that working occasionally. If I wanted extra reach then rally might be the more consistent option for this deck. I will keep it in mind whilst playing and see how many times it would've been good.

I run a very similar core in my favorite grenadin deck, but I use Kerendon merchant instead. I tried Ixtun merchant at first, but in my experience, having one less Madness in the main deck with one in the market almost makes that card OP. I run 4 Tripwire Grenadin, which annihilates aggro and cuts through Aegis.

Have you tried Crimson Firemaw or Memory Dredger in the deck? They really smooth out the curve by giving you options in the four-drop slot. If either stick, their effects can steamroll a victory.

Nice to see other people obsessed with the binary revolution.

Yes I have tried Crimson Firemaw before and always enjoy the card. Not putting those in this time because well you can't fit everything in! I also have decks with Kerendon merchant but I prefer the Ixtun merchant because shadow has a lack of top end finishers. I also prefer the Ixtun merchant for proactive ways to win the game and Stoker is one of my favourite cards. Thanks for the comment.
