Almost Eternal Version: 1.44
This deck is really fun to play.
In my experience so far, Vara Vengeance Seeker and Statuary Maiden are really problematic, since Vara removes Aegis, and pump spells, killer, and aegis are all inefficient vs Deadly. Polymorph, Silence, Vanquish, and Avigraft are possible answers. You can also try to fly over the deadly units with cards like Clutch of Talons and Skycrag Scalebreaker.
Also, since this deck is so low on turn-2 plays, and I usually like to play Hojan as a turn-3 play, I've been finding Strategize and additional crests to help with something to do on the early turns. Stormtamer Operative is an interesting 2-cost unit since it survives torch and protects Aniyah / Feastcaller from the FTP Display or from howling peak smuggler + torch.

I updated the deck to the savagery focused build that I had more success with - it's a great renown activator and has amazing combos with Mirror Image. You can occasionally burst lethal by casting Savagery + Finest Hour + Mirror Image on Geomar/ Rilgons. I could never decide exactly what combination of cards felt the best and I liked having fast spells that could deal with a variety of situations.

Hooru envoy is pretty bad, I'd just max out on Kosul battlemages, and maybe rilgon's disciple too

Good point, I can refine the 3 drops. In order to increase consistency and overall power level of the deck I have removed the superfluous Battlemages and replaced them with the relentless card draw engine Hooru Envoy.
