Sometimes, all you need is a 7/2 Endurance Overwhelm Aegis Double Damage Lifesteal Invulnerable to Damage to get your opponent to concede.
It's Sentinels, with Justice splash for
Stand Together and
Righteous Fury, while enjoying the fact that you get a half-decent, on-plan-ish 5-drop with the package. Seriously, no deck has made me appreciate
Reality Warden before like a Sentinel deck that likes to stop on 5. Sometimes you just need a well-statted boy for his curve, who just happens to be pretty good at eating Slays for your actual playmaker's sake when your opponent's on Makto's bullshit.
The ideal future with this deck is to make
Sandglass Juggernaut the biggest, most insurmountable headache your opponent's ever had to mouse over to admire all the keywords. That said,
Mysterium Orb on board with Stand Together in hand after playing
Heart of the Vault and
Sandstorm Titan is, generally speaking, also gonna win you maybe a couple of games.
Marshal Ironthorn is a scary thing to have hit the board when you haven't found all your favorite combo pieces and you're at something of a board stall. Again, mostly good at eating removal until your opponent's got nothing left for the Juggernaut, but if he sticks, he helps you on 6 power and up, and we have a backup plan for that.
It's called
Great-Kiln Titan. You may have heard? One of my favorite cards in the game. Wears Righteous Fury really well since we have more than a couple of relics and he can do reach damage with them. Another thing that wins games- turning your sentinels into magical lifeleeching turrets. That's okay I guess.
Also,
Whirling Duo because Whirling Duo is frankly just insane as a card. It helps you stabilize life total against aggro. Sometimes you draw like two of them and can win the game without playing a single big robot because you have Stand in hand.
And also a
Stirring Sands, because sometimes all you need to ruin your opponent's day is to make them see that 6/7 Aegis Endurance Double Damage Lifesteal more than once. Bump up or down as you feel appropriate-- it's a lot of fun.
How is it in the current meta ?
For one more mana, Great Kiln Titan hits the board and demands removal or you more or less win the game.
These are two very different cards, and to be perfectly honest one is infinitely better than the other on an objective level.
If by 'expensive', you mean 'hard to craft', my recommendation is... 'Craft your dang Great Kiln Titans', honestly. In terms of legendaries, I'd put him like, imperceptibly lower than things like SST and Icaria, like the ones you actually literally more or less need, just because he's both so powerful and so fun. He's the payoff for going big in Red, which is a niche no other card really fills unless you consider 6 for Soulfire Drake 'big'. If you have literally any love for Big Praxis at all, you have my word that you will make 2, possibly even three or four, and never feel bad about it.
Is this deck valid also on the ladder?
If you're playing particularly seriously, there's definitely adjustments to be made re: your meta pocket. Purifies can come in if you need them obviously, Reality Warden can probably go up to 3 or 4 if you feel like you need higher threat density, an extra Stirring Sands or two can maybe help out if you're stuck in Removal Pile Hell... If you're willing to concede that it'll feel stressful sometimes, there's definitely enough options in these colors to make this surprisingly competitive. Especially when 80% of the time, Righteous Fury on a Juggernaut is already an on-spot concede, eheh.
