while we didn't so so amazing in the ECL August Invitational (bringing the Spellcraft deck was far too ambitious), thought i'd share one of the other lists i came up with for the event.


this is my favorite shell for Zuberi, Outlands Warlord and Magus of Celerity at the moment.

earlier iterations played them in straight up praxis midrange, using Friendly Wisp/Heart of the Vault to keep the cards flowing for inspirations (probably still the actual best version at the moment)
later, i tried to stimulate card flow for inspirations via nightfall (infinitely more jankier)


and now we're using Auric Interrogator and Xenan Obelisk in a lowcurve xenan killer shell, and 27 power+standards in the style of alessi lists

Shugo Standard can punch through lethal damage on our DD units, while also being a solid trick.
Ayan, the Abductor is critical for preventing ourselves from bleeding too much from Auric Interrogator
in the same vein, i'm also considering Amethyst Monument.

Cool deck. Is there a decent alternative to Zuberi? I only have two at the moment and don't want to craft the rest before trying out the deck.

hm yea, zuberi is kind of the core of the deck but maybe you could try a couple Alhed, Mount Breaker/ if you have those, or simply just some other 4 drop threat that should be answered like Sandstorm Titan/Crimson Firemaw

Nice! I was looking for a shell with Zuberi where Magus of Celerity could fit, this looks super fun. Still trying to fit Zuberi in a SS deck.

yea i originally was considering putting Zuberi into this SS shell but it seems like with that sort of deck you are hoping to win by the time you'd even want to play Zuberi, but there might be something there.

also that list runs Blackhall Warleader which we also were running in this list at one point (rip 12k stones) over Blistersting Wasp, but i like the evasion/utility that the wasp brings as well as being a reasonable threat if Zuberi attack+inspires it
