Greedier Pile

So, I really liked the FTS greed pile from one of the last tournaments (I took out heart of the vault and played some more removal and value cards because I already scrapped that card once, don't want to craft him again) and last night, the cow god himself came to me in a dream and said "Surely, you didn't forget about all the fun we once had together, and how absolutely terrifyingly broken I was before In Cold Blood was printed?".

No Tavgod, I haven't forgotten. He also told me that playing 4 of him would be bad as one of the aforementioned ICB's would just destroy the entire strategy. "I am a broker by trade," he continued, "I know what it means to be greedy and have it all. Play a 3rd color, only play 2 of me and out value your opponent!".

Not one to question my bovine night terror ruler, I got to work. So far in Silver 2, I've won 5 matches with this iteration and lost 1. I'm not saying it's great, but the synergy is there. Weapons and a potential card draw engine with Interrogator (not to mention a great body for 3) make Tavrod still have value, and I have dark returns to bring back any value cards I might mill with his ability. I like the Time midrange options to help stall the game out to overpower the opponent, so I played the best ones the color had to offer at the moment. Sandstorm on 4 is a little testy with the mana, but I imagine it'll only get better with the tri lands.


I'm open to any fixes you have for the deck. In Cold Blood (market) I realize is a nonbo since you lose your green devotion but it can be pretty good in the mirror if you aren't terribly in need of green at the time you cast it. Decent "oh sh*t" button if you ask me.
