Honestly? I kinda feel like this is a bit of an underrated card. An interesting aspect of this relic is that, because of how it works, the golem kinda has a "pseudo" aegis? In the sense that, even if your opponent keeps pulling board clear and removal, it'll still be a unit you have on your side of the field. And if you're on the defensive, it's a 2-costed chump blocker with decent enough odds of surviving until enemy combat. It also works very well when combined with "Kill one of your units for XYZ" cards, as you can respawn the golem after the card takes effect for no cost beyond power. In the right deck, it can do great work.
Granted, of course, it absolutely has it's vulnerabilities, and shouldn't be too heavily relied upon. Combined with how you can only ever get one golem, even if you have multiple presses, this is a card you should only take, at most, 1-2 copies of.
