You're often forced to choose between getting the card draw value by playing your good units first OR getting the free damage by playing them last. It's very difficult to get both if your opponent is prepared for this card, since it's nearly impossible to untap with it.
Requires some of the deck to be built around it (such as ramp cards and plenty of influence) but totally worth it.
For a deck which uses it supremely try Kazed Kairos Peaks, or Here Be Kairos decks.
