I'm not really sure what I'm doing. Just that chalice is bad right now and shadow is good; so maybe there's some variation where putting one in the other fixes it...? Help. Please.

I don't think this deck really works. What makes chalice "good" is the fact that all of its units get instant value, that you can draw on top of. powerful summon effects offset tempo loss found from exhausting your units. Losing harsh rule hurts too, but stray into shadows might be an okay replacement. I think while the wasps are good they don't do enough for chalice.

I'm not sure how bad chalice really is right now as I haven't played it recently, but if it fails to agro I think you want cards like fallen oni, where if it fails to more greedy control decks then you need something like azindel's gift or even a mill package.
