The ShiftstonedEternal Power Calculator is a deck-building tool that visualizes your odds of drawing enough Influence and Power based specifically on the cards found in your deck.
The harbingers have been super useful for dealing with some key pain points: popping aegis on face and units, life gain recovery against aggro, survives most early weapons, blocks flyers, soaking silence for scourge later.
I think you're right about the powerbase, I'd probably want to get some eilyn/Vara favour in there too if possible.
Agree about the Favors, in fact before I had read your comment I cut the Lightning Storms completely for a 2/2 split of Favors. Have to test it to see if this is too much of a concession to aggro. I’ve optimistically gone back to 25 power in the hope that the Favors are good enough (I reckon they count for about 1/4-1/2 a power each). I’ve come back around to the Harbingers, I did notice a few situations where I missed him. He’s back in for now.
I’ve been playing around with this deck, because I thought the concept was solid (beat aggro AND other removal pile decks? tons of utility in Disjunction? Access to In Cold Blood? Never run out of gas with Reclaimer? OK!). However, I feel the list could use some tuning, I’ve made a couple changes and it could definitely still be refined further.
-Number one is the powerbase. Amber Waystone does very little for us and there aren’t enough dual sources in the deck. 25 power isn’t enough to ensure you get to 8, let alone 10, even with Find The Way. I cut the Amber stones, added Seats, and went up to 26 power. I might go up to 27 or 28, depending. I also cut the Finds in favor of 4 Seek Power, although a split of both is probably best, I’m going to try cutting a Lightning Storm for 3/2 Seek/Finds.
-I don’t think we want Black Sky Harbinger in a removal pile. He turns the opponent’s Harshes, ICBs, and Vanquishes into live cards and is too slow as a clock. I cut him completely. I added one Celestial Omen, one The Last Word, and more power in his place. TLW also makes our Disjunctions better. Its main downside is that we don’t have access to Harsh Rule for the board clear into execution play.
If you’ve been testing this deck too Vusak, I’m interested to hear what you think! Thanks for reading.
