Want to encourage more talk about draft and the meta. I by no means am a God at draft but I have a good head on my shoulders and have usually go 5 and out worst case.
Wasn't sure about this deck at first but panned out nicely! Name says it all
Stonescar Sneak was the shining star of this deck. Paired with an overwhelm unit like
Fearless Yeti by turn 3 is damn near unstoppable. The lack of ping seemed really bad to be honest. It should have been easy to keep that pair in check. Other than that smart play with killer units and Inspire units really kept me in board advantage. The wisps were a random sub theme deffinitly helped for the games that went late or I needed blockers for a tight game. I will admit this deck lacks in color fixing and a tad bit on spot removal. That being said the tempo of the deck seems to make up for the downside alot.
Going to list a few cards and why or why not they were good or I was surprised/disappointed with.
Stonescar Sneak
This card is just busted lol. Active on turn 3 with any unit with an aggressive bold faced Power. Best with Overwhelm,Killer, Lifesteal, Deathtouch, Flying in that order. Late game It can push you over the top of a stalled board. Overall love this card in the current environment.
Fearless Yeti
This card is a top pick for hyper aggressive decks. Over performed every time. The scout trigger was clutch and paired with Sneak on trun 3 won me at least 3 games. Even if they managed to stabilize they were way too low on life to pull through.
Acquisitive Crow
Only got to play this 3 games but this thing is pure card advantage and tempo. One game it strait won me the game pulled a tourch for the win lol. The others it gave great card advantage. Worst case a 2 for 1 if it doesn't suck up some spot removal. I'd say it's deffinitly worse the later the game goes cuz of rng. Still pick this every time in an aggressive deck or a spell matters control. 1 cost spells are overall not bad you will most likely get somthing you can use.
Rabid Yeti
Great addition to yeti and to 3 drop slot for primal in draft. Great on its own amazing with other yeti or power buffs. Harder to curve out in a 3 color deck. Still very viable in current draft environment.
Scavenging Spikeback
You always want to trigger this if you can and I really like the tribute abilitys over all. They punish removal and bad play. Somthing you very much want to do in draft. While being very well costed for the ability. This card is still very playable as an overwhelm unit with out the tribute. And very splashable.
Wurmcalling
OK only got this in my hand 2 times. 1 time I got color boned on it. The other I played it turn 4 with a large board advantage. They scooped lol. I'm going to go ahead and say this card is just a beating if you have board control on turn 4. Best imo on curve but still just a pure 2 or 1. Even great to stabilize late game. Once agen harder to play cuz of the double time but a perfect edition to any mid ranged or tempo deck.
Lightning Storm
This card has always been a great draft card. Sometimes not so great for hyper agro decks. With tribute cards and what I see as a large amount of very arresive powerful cards with LOW health. This and
Hailstorm are both must haves in the current meta.
The only card that for sure let me down
was
Rindra's Choice. Amazing constructed card. Way to situational in draft. To be honest I half expected this but I tried haha. Didn't use it once lol.
Honorable Mention-
Spitefeeder
This card surprised me on how good it was for tempo. It's cheep has evasion and being a wisp really does help. With Inspire cards in the mix it's really clutch to deprive them of that draw. Or screw them on the Power draw.
Add to thar you can use it to mill yourself for recursion. Over all I feel this card is more playable than most think.
Sandglass Parma
Great tempo card if your ahead and a great way to get ahead late game if your stalled a bit.
Watchful Amanera
Best in spell heavy decks its not bad in aggro with good tempo spells. Trigger her ability at least 2 times per game. The ability to scout on there turn is also not to be over looked. Best in aggro a a buffer of you dint hit the aggressive starting hand.
Well that's it thanks for reading. Sorry for any spelling or gramer issues lol. Feel free to discuss what y'all think as well.
