Roshi the Entrancer, at least to some at first glance, appeared to be one of the weaker heroes of the cycle. Since I love underdogs, I feel like it's my job to build a deck that makes him worth playing. I decided to go for more of a midrange-tempo build with stuns and aegis, big blockers, and killer elves. Let's see how it's done.
Units:
Crown Patroller - A 1-drop that plunders. Basic stuff. Get your fixing in early.
Frostbite Elemental,
Maveloft Huntress - This pair does big work early. If you don't have stuns to work on for turn 3 to activate your elemental, imbue the huntress to it and attack away. A turn 3 6/6 killer attack is nothing to sneeze at.
Yojimba, Ghostblade - At best, it's a card drawing engine that hits hard. At worst, it's a 0/6 blocker for 3.
Roshi the Entrancer - Imbues one of your units and one of your opponent's. He can singlehandedly tilt the board in your favor.
Torgov, Icecap Trader - A Jekk-proof unit that draws cards. I'm told that's good.
Support:
Bubble Shield,
Silverblade Intrusion,
Cleansing Rain - Protection for your side of the board.
Valiant Leap - Neat combat trick. Revenge is nice, too.
As for an opening hand, I just look for something with a decent curve. Huntress or Elemental (or both if you're lucky) and at least two power. This hasn't really been refined yet. I have changes to it that I haven't posted yet.
edit: posted current list. still open to suggestions if you've got 'em.
After playing about 8 games with this, I just don't think it'll work. Let me know if you have success with the shell tho, it's an interesting idea
But that might be too controll-y of a market
