Buttons to Master

Went with Blazing Salvo first instead of Condemn, decided I'd rather have 4 Annihilates to deal with early big drops such as baby Vara.
Crests were more useful to me than Vows - Champion of chaos was more likely to hit both influence reqs to survive blasted hail storm, and scout can help later on or in first turn sometimes better than Eager Deputy if you don't want to plunder yet.

Biggest issues were control with Turn to seed & hail storm, or malediction. Decided for a long while if I want to keep hideout pistol in 4x when facing less unit opposition, but it's still decent.

Vicious Highwayman is theme wise a fantastic addition and also a gunslinger, but out of all the units probably the least MVP. If you have issues vs control with Aegis, I'd swap for Vara, Vengeance-Seeker. If you don't have him, try without crafting him first to save some shiftstone.
