I've been tinkering with this deck since set 5 came out. There is a version without
Temporal Distortion and more units, but this one is a lot more fun to play. Shadow almost exclusively gives you
Display of Knowledge and Cargo, although casting
Talir's Unwinding remains the goal of the deck. It isn't better than the cards Justice gives you, but it is a ton of fun to pilot. DoK is a powerful and underexplored card, but does not justify Shadow over Justice all on its own (though it is quite good).
The goal is to essentially burn through copies of
Channel the Tempest, and then use Unwinding to reset and give you a deck full of gas.
Clutch of Talons is another win condition that is excellent with all the ramp.
I've been having a lot of fun with the deck, and with some practice it does well on ladder. You have to be really careful and plan a few turns ahead against some of the top decks, as you can get punished really hard for missteps. Jennev in particular is hard, and you have to spend a lot of time trying to play around Display of Instinct. Nevertheless, if you are looking for something fun to play during the downtime, I highly recommend this deck.
