Let me know if you like it! Updated it to be a little more sturdy. I love you Savage Incursion, be we got a 5/3 fly boi that can get punched twice. Sorry not sorry.
You can win a lot of the time before you deck them. And because of Solitude, you only need to get 50% of their deck discarded to win.
Definitely not optimized for the newest two sets, but I took a break after Argent Depths and spent all my shiftstone on those 5/5 mandrakes. Pointers are welcomed!
Enjoy
You could probably see how he does in place of heartstopper.
About heartstopper, it's a fun card. It's not the most necessary part of the deck, but it can add a lot of value over time. My opinion is you can skip crafting it on favor of more meta legendaries, but if you particularly enjoy discard, then heartstopper is really fun card to have.
Darkwater Vines x4 at .5 discard per = 2 discard
Dreamsnatcher x4 at .25 discard per = 1 discard (He benefits from discard, but he requires 10 power to cause discard to happen, so poor discard)
Tome of horrors x4 at.5 discard = 2 discard (You need units to hit stuff and deal damage to be effective at discarding cards. This deck has 34 units with a whopping average attack power of 3)
Two-Face x4 at 1 discard = 4 discard (And a body with deadly. Not super helpful with tome, however)
Strange Broker x4 at 1 discard = 4 discard (the only card other than dream snatcher that actually works with Tome's ability. We aren't generating a ton of power, so the possibility that we gain strength by drawing the enemies cards is already poor at best, but we double down on this)
Solitude x1 at .5 discard (Single copy, gated behind market access, when 4 other cards might be needed more than this.)
Elvish swindler is Okay I suppose, as it lets us pay 5 to dig and play for Tome, but the double influence cost sucks.
Evolving Olzial makes no sense to me. If relics are so oppressive you need to add a 5 cost double influence card to deal, you should rethink what your deck is actually trying to accomplish, because this ain't it.
On the plus side, if we ever get odd-handed golem this deck will be the tits.
The deck is a partially updated expedition deck from xulta, so there's some holes to plug for sure.
Finding the balance between forcing them to discard while still maintaining a healthy board is a difficult but fun metagame.
The deck is just sitting on potential right now. I'll keep tweaking it over time.
