Hey folks, this is a deck I'm currently testing that is a bridge between the popular praxis ramp deck and the old-style midrange dawnwalker build. I combined the dawnwalker, initiation and carnosaur package with the ramp package of ramp cards, behemoth, ascendants and GKTs since I figured that they had great synergy together, enabling some blisteringly fast t3 titan t4 behemoth t5 ascendant starts but also being able to grind through most of the other decks in the format with massive card advantage. Obviously Worldbreaker Behemoth is great for both strategies.
So far, this deck has performed very well on ladder for me (though I only have a sample size of about 15 games) and has been crushing gauntlet completely, winning 4 of my last 5 gauntlets. I've also found it very fun to play - doing sweet things with cost reduction like making Carnosaurs cost 0 is great and just playing with so much card advantage feels very rewarding.
I'm currently testing a 2-2 split of Ascendant vs Carnosaur as I'm not really sure which is better and they each have situations in which one trumps the other. Ascendant has great synergy with Worldbearer Behemoth and is a fantastic draw engine by itself while Carnosaur can bring back Dawnwalkers (which is very important) and is great at pushing lethal.
Feedback and suggestions would be very useful! The card I'm least sure about is Xenan Obelisk and I might well cut the two for Obliterates. It's also entirely possible the GKTs should be more ascendants/carnosaurs and I'm just too caught up in the new cards craze so I'll be testing that as well.
I have get to master using near only this deck.
Ok, i switched sometime to a xenan lifeforce when i got overrun by fast aggro during start of season.
It's a very fun deck.
It's very flexible and reliable.
Often i use it in gauntlet too and has a very good winning ratio.
Thanks
