Information

Pretty much a generic Ixtun midrange deck with the new cards. Display of Honor, Ixtun Cargo, and Red Canyon Smuggler are absolutely fantastic and I'd never cut them.

Hojan also seems pretty good but I could see cutting him for a more consistently good unit. But overall he seems really strong, perfect for an aggressive deck like this. Curving him into Linebreaker's Shield or Vanquisher's Blade on turn 3 is really good and he gives you a way to use extra power in the lategame. But Crownwatch Paladin or Champion of Glory could also work.

Aniyah seems better than I though she'd be, but I'm still not entirely convinced. For a while I had Reyna, the Unwavering instead and she seemed pretty good, but Aniyah has definitely been a lot easier to play and I've won a couple of games off the summon effect. But I've also lost games Reyna would've won (or at least let me survive) so I'd say I need more testing to know which is best for sure. Overall I'd say Aniyah is better in the deck, but she accentuates it's weaknesses as well as it's strengths, whereas Reyna is just a good generic beater. Also this deck is definitely weak to Combrei and Reyna is really good in those matchups. You could also run Amilli in this slot, although he'd mostly be a generic beater and Reyna is better for that.

Overall the deck seems strong, but that might just be because it has mostly good cards and everyone is testing a bunch of jank. But I climbed from d3 to Masters at rank ~450 and then to rank ~250 Masters with it, and it definitely beat a lot of (what looked like) good decks. So I'd say it at least has the skeleton of a ladder viable deck after the meta settles.

dang we both went to the same place straight out the gates
i've been kind of trying to make this sort of thing work, or maybe.

Svetya's Bravery just seems too exciting not to try to break, it's as close as a 1 mana Protect as we'll get.
also probably should try Warhelm over Elder's Feather in the black market.

Acquisitive Crow is probably just still too memetic and probably should be more in line with what you've got going on i'd imagine.

i do think it's cute that you can Torch your own Aniyah, Arctic Sheriff to save it

I've actually Torched my Aniyah to save her multiple times and it's won me some games! One time I even saved her from an enemy Torch by Torching her first. My original version of this was much different and a lot more combo-y. I never had room for the Crow (too many 3 drops, not enough synergy), but I did try Warhelm in the Market, along with Inquistor's Blade (better than Elder's Feather IMO). I mostly had them because I was also using Highland Sharpshooter, which won me some games but it was mostly just a 2 power 3/2. I found that these cards were too aggro/combo for this version, it was a midrange deck that played a bunch of random low value cards so I could occasionally put together crazy combo win. That was fun, but I was trying to build a solid deck for climbing so I went with a more boring, consistently good version with more units.

Svetya's Bravery did sort of stick out to me, but I'm not that impressed with it. I don't know if you played back then but Protect actually used to cost 1. It wasn't really much better, It saw more play but it wasn't ever clearly OP or even super strong. It got nerfed as part of a way to make AP mid less efficient at shoring up it's weaknesses rather than because it was crazy busted (basically it died for Tavrod's sins). So I'm pretty skeptical of a more narrow version who's only other bonus is a minor 1-turn buff. Still though, 1 power Protect would be better now than it used to be so maybe it's worth. But for my deck I'm pretty confident it's mostly just going to be a dead card. I don't think I have a unit with a weapon often enough, and 1 power for +1/+1 until EOT is super bad. Also the weapons I'm running either trade or draw a card when you Spellcraft so it's harder to get 2-for-1'd with them. Even without Spellcraft putting a weapon on Hojan to ramp and deal 8 lifesteal damage on turn 3, or to give Aniyah aegis is generally worth a card. So I don't think Svetya's Bravery fits into this deck, but maybe a more combo-y version with more weapons (like yours) wants it.

One card I am definitely interested is Xulta Foil, but it's lower on the list of Legendaries that I want to craft so I haven't gotten to yet. The cost makes me skeptical but silencing on summon is a big deal, and it protects itself from 2-for-1s by giving you some pretty good units when it goes away. Also 3/4 is a really nice statline. My main problem is I really don't know what I'd cut, but I'd only want 2 so it shouldn't be that hard to find room. I suspect it's going to be a little too slow/inefficient to make the cut but it could definitely also be super amazing.

MrRoboto Edited Eternal Version: 1.42
Your build looks great as well.... the crow gives you cards to pitch as well as an enabler for some crazy dmg swings at times
