The ShiftstonedEternal Power Calculator is a deck-building tool that visualizes your odds of drawing enough Influence and Power based specifically on the cards found in your deck.
I had a lot of success with this, but when I got up to mid-Diamond I started having trouble; this list is very weak to Praxis Tokens and other go-wide strategies, which are very popular currently. My current list, from the one listed here, is:
You raise an interesting point. I hadn't realized that. It could be a carryover from when I was using a different build before. I'm not sure. The game won't let me log in at the moment, but I will have to correct this. Thank you.
Oh, ok. I thought there was some essential deckbuilding part of this I was missing! I'm fairly new and using this as a basis for my current play deck and filling in rares as I get enough shiftstone.
I'm currently running it with 4x rakano banner / seat of glory, then 7 justice / fire sigils, 1 granite monument, and 2 emerald monuments. The gemblades are expensive, but a nice toy (especially with a midgame warcry stack, if I'm lucky enough).
No, I just used to be running 3x Milos, and as I got good Justice rares, I replaced a lot of the gunslinger synergy stuff, and I must have forgot to switch out the power.
What's the role of Hammer of Might? I don't have one and do have a Steelfang Chakram, which seems better to me, but I might be missing something, I'm an atrocious deckbuilder so far.
Hammer of Might is honestly a newer addition, but I actually am thinking about crafting some more to replace some of the Shogun's Scepters. It's nice because 3 warcries is probably more than you can expect off of a single warcry 1 unit or weapon, so by using it the turn you equip it, you are guaranteed your value, and guaranteed your next unit or weapon will be a bomb, and likely win you the game if your opponent doesn't have an answer. After you got your value, you don't have to feel pressure to attack into bad trades just to get your warcry value off of it.
Steelfang Chakram have more value over a long game, but this doesn't want to be in a long game. If the game has gone long enough that you've gotten value from equipping a 4 mana weapon 3 times, you've probably already lost.
ACK, I was thinking about the Chakram as providing reach, since with the fliers and quickdraws there are a lot of good carriers for it. But the +3/+3 to your next weapon/unit does that just as well until the third use, so you're probably right.
