This deck started out as big combrei with ironthorns and wordlbearers, secret pages. I wanted to play big owls, and as I re-evaluated the deck Temporal Control seemed like the right influence and a better gameplan against late game decks. The deck as it stands is a combo deck that controls the game till 8-10. The highroll combo is playing temporal distortion and a new tommorrow before your next turn. With the crests and using recon tower earlier this usually means you scout about 4 times, often landing you on a channel the tempest, winchest merchant, the great parliment, or aid of the hooru.
If you have a the great parliment in your hand you typically win the following turn. You use the power during your turn to control the board, when it refreshes wait untill their end step and play the great parliment. 5 4/4 owls that can attack that turn, and 40 damage if you have 2 copies. Or you combo it with channel the tempest or aid or the hooru. Basically you get to have so much value at fast speed it is impossible for decks to keep up.
And if the meta becomes super greedy control just tech in a lumen relcaimer and reshuffle.
Only card that's iffy for me is the stronghold visage, it only does something in the really late turns to protect you from burn.
