This is a build around deck of
Kaleb's Sanctum for LordPerth's Brewlette.
Jekk, Hunted Fugitive is a card I've wanted to play for the longest time, but never really saw a place for him. That is until forced to play Sanctum. I took
Initiate of the Sands,
Auralian Supplier,
East Annex Smuggler,
Druid of the Sands, and
Patrice, Your New Home from my successful
85% deck to build a base of cards that worked.
Camrin's Sniper Rifle is a cheap removal weapon.
Chizue, Silver Hilt is solid and usually draws you a card.
Siege Train can play three roles, playing weapons, units, or doing damage. I think it depends on your opponent which you choose. A charging Jekk off of Patrice is living the dream. Jekk with
Oni Quartermaster can be absurd. And multiple Quartermasters you're liable to deck yourself with Jekk and/or Sanctum on board. Beware of that.
Bombard is a weird choice, I admit. And there's probably something, anything better. But, I wanted it to discard Sanctums because you need only one. Multiples are pointless. So, that could be
Catalyze,
Jekk, Mercenary Hunter (though you don't have enough Sigils for him),
Barricade Basher, or maybe even
Autotread (but this doesn't strike me as an Autotread deck).
The market is a work in progress.
Bore is required.
Ignite for cheap removal.
Kaleb's Persuader for power, damage, and weapon.
Karrina, Embercaster for charge and exhaust. It's the exhaust primarily. Moving a unit out of combat has benefits.
Gift of the Daimyo is for fun. It could probably be anything you want. I wanted Gift cuz it's fun to draw random weapons.
I've only played six ladder games at the time of this post, going 5-1. I did try Gauntlet a few times and won some games, but it didn't feel fantastic there. Anyway... here's a deck you shouldn't build but might want to just for funsies. When do you ever get to play with Kaleb's Sanctum? Never, right? Well, here you go.
