With the recent nerfs to hooru control, there are very few control decks left in the meta, and most decks have swapped out their anti-control tools. What a time to be alive in a world without relic weapons and counter spells.
Playing 2 main deck Pit and 1 Chain over Channel and sky king sword. Pit bypasses counter-spells and wins you the game on the spot against feln and FTP. It also helps you close out the game faster against burn decks. Chain has the upside of affecting the board immediately, and who doesn't like 14/14 wurms
Usual game plan: first, ramp as much as you can (most of the time, I would get Minotaur ambassadors with my first merchant), stem the bleeding with equivocate and hailstorm. Then draw a bunch of cards, and overwhelm your opponent with wurms. If you are on the back foot, you also have the option of grabbing temporal and play a traditional draw-cards, sweep-the-board control game.
