The deck is pretty straightforward, not a lot to explain gameplay-wise.
As for the cards in this list,
Lethrai Provocateur is not mandatory, but I like its ability to occasionaly shut down weapon heavy decks. Because of this, it should belong in the market instead of
Tasbu, the Forbidden, but its lower power cost makes the deck smoother to play, and being in the main deck makes it more likely to activate the
Infiltrate effect.
Memory Dredger and
Impending Doom are both viable options in its place, although with obviously different funcionality.
Emblem of Makkar is a card that needs a bit or extra attention: despite the low power curve of the deck, I would advise against decimating aggresively, but rather wait until we have at least 4-5 maximum power, and even better if we have a buffed
Blackhall Warleader on the board.
The deck didn't have any particularly unfavored matchups so far, with a fairly decent winrate against
Sudden Death boss, at least as long as the AI doesn't open with double
Infernus. Yeah... that one still hurts...
Defender of the Spire boss can be problematic, but we have enough removal, fast units and life recovery to race against it most of the time.
All that being said,
GLHF
EDIT: List updated with
Echoes of Eternity, no drastic changes in how the deck works in general, just slighlty more aggressive due to early
Deadly units.
Removed Tasbu from the market and currently trying out Makkar's Quiver, which hasn't disappointed so far.
How do you find listener working out? I've been hestitating to craft her for myself but am considering it. would like to know how she fits in a mono shadow gauntlet deck.
I have a pretty popular mono shadow gauntlet grinder, but it's quite a bit different. Interesting to have two takes on the same idea.

Notice we both love that under-rated masterpiece Spiteful Strike!
Incarnus is simply amazing, I hesitated crafting it as well initially mainly because of its mediocre power/stats ratio, but being unblockable makes up for it.
Sadly that also makes it a removal/silence magnet, which I was expecting, but at that point the first invoke already gave us a card that's useful more often than not.
At the end of the day, even if Incarnus gets torched on the spot, it doesn't feel too bad since it essentially replaces itself.
I'm considering reworking the market a bit, but overall I'm very happy with how the deck has been performing.
And yes, Spiteful Strike is a little masterpiece!
Like, with my kairos-ramba gauntlet obliterator i can make all the reliable gauntlet gold I need, so were looking at something competitive or just very different.
Try this deck out if you like easy gold!
I play it when i need gold, and sorta alternate with mono shadow gauntlet decks to not get too bored.
For the sake of comparison, it's not even close to how good Vara, Vengeance-Seeker is, which pretty much shows up in any shadow deck, and they occupy the same slot.
It all comes down to what your collection looks like, if you already own the must have cards in this block, give it a shot. Otherwise I'd probably wait, which is what I did; while Incarnus peaked my interest when I first saw it, it was never very high in my crafting priority list for Gauntlet.
