My first deck after the release of set 9 is a version of the well known FTS Sacrifice deck including
Jekk, Mercenary Hunter and
Gentle Grazer. The deck lost some important cards in Expedition, like
Ark of Sol and
Banish (not in all lists), but it got more than enough alternatives to compensate that. Right now I am 9:1 and rank 90 with this deck.
Temple Scribe is a nice addition to the deck that replaces itself and can be used as a sac fodder for cards like
Devour or
Combust. The influence makes it hard to play her on 2 and she is still relatively low impact, so I only play 2 copies right now. The new set brought us a better market option then
Blazing Salvo or
Crack the Earth, Etchings. I decided to go for time Etchings instead of fire because the market options are a bit better and we have more time than fire units to exhaust. The small downside of having to exhaust a unit isnt really a problem with all the small tokens lying around and the problem of influence screw (because Etchings can only find 1 kind of sigil) is circumvented by playing 4
Destruction Chant and 4
Unfamiliar Interloper. The other new card is
Desert Alchemist, and I dont think I have to explain why she is good (fixing, flood prevention and removal). The deck only got 1 Cylix (Xenan), but 15 duals are enough anyway. The rest of the deck is pretty much standart (allthough some cards might change depending on meta changes, e.g. if Midrange chonker decks become meta
Vox, Nurturing Sadist should be played in the maindeck instead of the market) and the playstile of the deck should be relatively well known by now.
Good luck and have fun!
