I still cant make myself craft Xumucan. Maybe because time isn't in most of the newest top tier decks, but it just seems like a great stat with ambush, but after that its really meh.

I got to Top 14 with a Xenan deck and Xumucan is an MVP there. It makes it really hard for aggressive opponents to attack, and it dodges slow removals like Vanquish, Permafrost, Desecrate for one turn, and in midrange mirrors, you can be more proactive in the race because if your opponent chump blocks, you get free chump blockers. Finally for non primal decks that desperately lack card draws, it’s a pseudo card draw late game.

The combination of ambush and warp can be pretty useful, and if you are going wide with something like Obelisk, even the explorers he generates can push through quite a bit of damage. I didn't end up sticking with Praxis for long, but if I end up playing a Xenan deck, I'll probably try him again there.

Hmmm yeah I mean he looks fine, but i have 12k shiftstone and am hesitant to spend it all on Xumucan, especially with a new set coming out soon.
