It's a pretty bad deck. Maybe this can work at masters when people are fooling around, but I often never even drew a portal and even when I did I had no units to play.

Sorry to hear that! There's inherently a lot of variance in this kind of deck. When I played it the aggro decks weren't as punishing so I had more time to set up.
