On paper this list is really similar to my Memery Hunter deck, but it actually plays pretty differently with a viable alternate wincon. So I wanted to preserve that list/writeup instead of editing it. But I'm very confident that this deck is better.

This version is more focused on getting out Obelisk with a bunch of units and beating down. Hunter still plays a big role, but it's much easier to win without using her, or with only getting a few Serpents off her.

It plays pretty similar to the other version, so that writeup is still helpful. But instead of Herald's Song and Unstable Form, we play Clockroach, 4 Obelisk, 4 Find the Way, and 4 Pitfall Trap. This obviously makes the Obelisk/Trap plan a lot stronger, and gives us another wincon (too many huge Clockroaches). The 4th Find the Way makes Voice of the Speaker better too.

The main difference from the other one is you don't need Hunter to win, so it's less important to use her ability ASAP. It's OK to wait some turns to play Obelisk, get a bigger hand, play more power, etc. Sometimes you can even just try to win without her and keep her as backup. It's very possible to just win by ramping into an Obelisk with 8 power and 3-5 units on turn 5-6, no Hunter needed. But that does need a pretty good draw to happen.

Generally playing Hunter is still very powerful and you want to do it every game. She's definitely still the main wincon, there's just more room to set her up first. Also, it's easier to refill the board so you don't have to be as careful about slamming a bunch of serpents, which is nice.

You're generally not going to have as many cards when you play Hunter because there are fewer echo cards and you want to play Clockroach proactively. But you really don't need as much value from her, 3-5 Serpents seems to usually be plenty.

Shimmerpack might be worth running in the market but I think it's too win-more. Plus all the current market cards have been pretty useful. I'm pretty happy with this list overall, but it might be worth experimenting with Etched Monolith (thanks Anoxo for the suggestion), and/or Praxis Arcanum for a more explosive build.

New 4-cost Aeva pretty good in this deck right??

Oh hell yes, thank you for commenting! IDK if I ever would've thought of that on my own. I tried her before but she just seemed to slow, although that was the build without Clockroach. She's probably really good in this archetype now.

I like this fine-tuned version! Clockroaches give nice protection against aggro also Voice of the speaker + Find the way makes for lots of transformable cards. Thanks for the shout out dude! Keep up the good work!
