2 Finest Hour
Useful combat trick for keeping dudes on the board
4 Darkveil Agent
Almost every unit in the deck is Unseen. This is also the only way of reloading the Aegis on Shelterwing Riders. These frequently draw hate, but every slay that's used to kill a Darkveil Agent is one that doesn't kill a Hooru Pacifier or other WinCon.
4 Kothon, the Far-Watcher
Cheap early blocker, evasive attacker if he makes it late game. One of the best Nostrix targets in the deck.
4 Reinvigorate
Surprisingly potent combat trick. Frequently gives +3/+3, as well as leaving a unit with endurance. The Endurance aspect is very strong right now as well, with Permafrost and Daraka being as prevalent as they are.
3 Vanquish
Strong removal - there are very few 3 or lower attack minions we need to remove once we have a board presence, and Hailstorm takes care of many of those. I wish I had room for 4 Vanquish and 4 Eilyn's Choice, 3 and 3 of each is a compromise.
3 Eilyn's Choice
Kills big attackers (though after they swing, so it's weaker against Tavrod) and protects against Harsh Rule. Also useful for blocking Celestial Omen / Rise to the Challenge when control decks try to tutor for their Win-Con.
4 Hailstorm
Early aggro protection. Have to be careful when playing it, as it kills Darkveil and Kothon (and Commandos that haven't attacked). While I love to get a 3 for 1 with it, against most Skycrag/Rakano/Stonescar decks, if I can get a 2 for 1 with it early, the minions in the deck have a good chance of winning the game from there. Better to clear the board on turn 3 and only get a little card advantage than to lose the game on turn 4 because you didn't.
4 Hooru Pacifier
The reason the deck exists. Hooru Pacifier is very removal resistant, and shuts down several popular decks entirely while he's on the board.
4 Unseen Commando
Cheap, evasive lifegain that buffs other attackers. What's not to love?
4 Wisdom of the Elders
The deck frequently wins by keeping up card advantage while destroying tempo. Wisdom gives you cards so you don't run dry.
4 Shelterwing Rider
Frequently draws hate as soon as it hits the board, but the Aegis means that even after it can't attack, you're still left with a 0/5 flying blocker. Can be reloaded with Darkveil Agent. Excellent Nostrix target.
4 Lida, Most Skilled
The deck is light on removal, so Lida steps up to provide that as well as a Win-Con. Her body is not so impressive people will be making threads about it 3 expansions after she was released, but with the number of Unseen in the deck, she is almost always activated and can frequently trade at least 2 for 1. Important to note that if you have a Commando on the board, he buffs her when she uses Killer. Also works well with Reinvigorate.
3 Nostrix, Lord of Visions
Added to give the deck the ability to punch out units with more than 5 toughness. Without a Nostrix, the deck feels like it runs out of gas against midrange decks.
1 Eilyn, Clan Mother
Added because I only have 3 Nostrix and wasn't convinced that crafting one would be worthwhile. Still, I'm rarely unhappy to draw her - the double-silence is surprisingly valuable, and she's an evasive enduring unit who dodges Annihilate and Permafrost. Plus, having only one of them in the deck means when she's killed In Cold Blood, you don't lose anything else.
