Information

Seeing how good a strangers deck can be, very much a meme deck and WIP. The addition of the market makes hitting the influence requirements much easier than in the past, so a stranger deck may actually not be terrible now.

The plan is to run as many +x/+x strangers as possible (Ruthless Stranger, Determined Stranger, Battle-Tested Stranger, Prophetic Stranger, and Mask Maker). All but the Prophetic Stranger can be accessed with Praxis, so we'll use praxis as our base deck and use the Praxis Stranger and Clever Stranger.

Next, we want access to one of each influence to play Triumphant Stranger. We run one of each non-praxis crest, one of each non-praxis sigil, as well as one crest of each off-color in our market. Between this and four copies of Seek Power, we should have no problems getting one of each influence. The rest of our market is one Triumphant Stranger, and since we have one of each influence, why not Nictotraxian?

EDIT: Apparently you can't put colorless cards in the market, swapped the influence strangers for crests we can fetch with Auralian merchant.

As a pro 5c Strangers player, I thank you for this. Always nice to try out someone else's take on a deck, and I hadn't thought of using Mask Maker.

based memelad

Mask Maker is pretty interesting, i wonder which other creature types might benefit from this kind of effect/could abuse it in some way.

Gunslingers are the first thing that comes to mind. Basically any deck that frequently runs Common Cause.

shame there aren't more notable on-bond effects.
Callous Survivalist is a pretty sweet one though.
