This is my adjusted version of the Shimmerpack deck. Using this to climb the ladder this month, so far it's been far outperforming any of my other decks, perhaps because it's still relatively unexpected.
Card changes;
Humbug Swarm was meh to begin with, then it got nerfed. So it's out.
Lumen Shepherd is essentially a free token, then you swap it out for a market card with one of your merchants.
Equivocate is really bad in an aegis-heavy meta. You waste two spells AND give them a card, which is terrible value. Instead, Carnosaur kills them, AND leaves you with a 6/6 on board. Much better value but situational, so we'll run just one in the market and keep the three maindeck Equivocates.
Weaknesses: Decks running big aegis units (Icaria, Sword of Unity), board clears (Hailstorm, Harsh Rule) and other token decks (Praxis Tokens). Yet somehow it's still doing really well on ladder, so I'll keep playing it until it stops being profitable.
I may also end up swapping out the Archive Curators as they often feel like the weakest cards in the deck, but I've yet to find anything that performs better in practice.
Marisen's Disciple is probably the best card to go with to replace the Shepherds. I may like the idea of the Shepherds more than I actually like their effect, but they really do come in handy more often than you'd think. It and Find the Way are to give you card advantage and fodder to ship away with the Merchants. Otherwise I find myself with nothing I really want to trade away and sometimes even playing Merchants without using their effect.
