The concept behind this deck started with me wanting to make Camrin, the Fox
work, and has gone through a few changes since my first version.
The deck shares some synergies with Stonescar lists, having a solid self-sacrifice package to gain value. Combust
is, as usual, one of the MVP's, and Casualties of the Cause
from Homecoming seems to a valuable addition with similar synergy. Camrin fits into this gameplan nicely, as well as providing extra juice for the late game, letting you really turn games around. Madness
is amazing and can singlehandedly win games, but you don't need me to tell you that.
With regards to synergies geared towards Camrin, the deck includes Secret Passage
to help her meet her conditions and Kerendon Merchant
works well with her, often being a card your opponent won't enjoy blocking. The small revenge package of Piercing Grief
and Stonepowder Alchemist
are good cards in general, but work especially well with the sacrifice synergy, and both help with health gain. In quite a few games, I've gone below 5 health only to be pulled back by clutch healing from them.
is mostly just here as a good card, but can have his renown activated by both Casualties and Obsidian Armor
if necessary. In the same category is Regent's Tomb
, which is just generally good, and the Sabotage effect is invaluable against some decks.
