AWAKENED DESTRUCTION

So, here I am, win my version or starting place, of where our newest promo deleph’s awakening would go.

I THINK it’s simple... fill your void with shades and steal the opponent’s via grave and waylay... cast Coslo to mill yourself while drawing into excavate, and drop into an awakening... whoa and behold, if your luck is anything like mine, you’ll be drawing 10 for 1 mana haha

Market is flexed for grave stealing, removal, and void shuffle... of course, as always, it’s flexible.

New hot off the press promo and idea, so I’ve only tested 5 games, BUT... I won 3.. 2 people actually scooped... it’s an interesting card to play with and I’m sure I’ll be coming back with different ideas..

UPDATE: learning curve is most definitely here, but getting the hang of it, and now surprisingly 12-5 with the deck... it’s getting fun to play once you know what you’re doing.. still trying to decide if main board hard removal is needed.. so far display has been doing its job and hasn’t let me down... market cremate and banish seem fine... oh! Deleph awakening and waylay go REALLY well together... if anyone knows of other graveyard stealing that would be awesome... I tried baby tasbu but he actually is shuffling into deck... we don’t want that lol... looking forward to comments!

UPDATE: so hard removal was needed, and majority of threats are single faction, so I added annihilate.. I lost 2 games in a row thanks to aegis, so, of course the shadow staple Vara had to be included.. will keep testing. Record is 16-7.

UPDATE: there was no need for a little bit more hard removal in Red Lake interaction… So I have adjusted the market and swapped waylay and banish... waylay Has been played in the late game anyway, so it would be better to grab it with broker while I have interaction early game.. because of these changes, I also had to adjust the mana base. Record is now 19-9. Will of course continue to test!

UPDATE: while Coslo is awesome in this deck, I have found that I have been using him late game.. I lose the upside of flashing in against wide aggro decks for a pseudo board wipe, but swapping him with cremate in the market is overall better against unit recursion and frustrating sites, without going deep in shadow for Icaria.. also adjust the mana base to compensate the changes.. record is now 26-12... will continue to test!

UPDATE: man it’s a pain in the ass to balance the deck.. ran into mana issues and market irrelevance.. update both market and main again, to get more consistency.. so far, so good. 3 in a row after changes.. record now 32-16
