[Top 50] 29-1 in last 30 games Hooru Control Midrange

I started the January league off with an aggro deck of some sort. I don't even remember it specifically, but I had a losing record. If I remember correctly, I think I started off like 2-8.

In week 2, I got some good Hooru rares in each pack and decided to switch to Hooru. Life was just generally busy and I didn't get to play all the weekly matches, but day after day, I kept winning with it. Climbed back up to 10-8, but I didn't have the time to play more matches.

Week 3 I remember getting more Green and/or Blue rares that went with what I was doing, but mostly I was just getting a great control package. But I didn't have any time to play any more matches still.

Week 4 I think I swapped out 1 or 2 cards, but it was just commons and uncommons. With a few days left in the month, and 22 games left to play, I finally had an open weekend and decided to pound out the games, hoping just to crack top 500 for the premium legendary upgrade. I rattled off 5 wins, then 5 more, then another 5. I couldn't believe how strong the deck was, but it just had great value and mostly fliers as finishers.

I was sitting at 24 wins in a row from the 2-8 start and finally lost a game where I got out-valued and didn't draw many of my removal cards. Then I won the last 5 games, finished 31-9, and currently sitting at Rank 35 without playing any tiebreaker games.

The highest 9-loss player is Rank 20, and I'm at the bottom of the XX-9 players since I haven't played any tiebreakers. So since the rewards from 11-50 are all the same, I'm not going to play any more matches this league.

I was just so happy to have a crazy streak like that (29-1 with a 24 match streak!?!) that I had to post the decklist.
