This is an Overwhelm deck leveraging
Shepherd's Horn for value-y midrange things that splashes Shadow for
Means to an End. The reason is because of the interaction between the two aforementioned cards and
Dawnwalker; playing a meaty Overwhelm unit with both relics in play causes you to:
1. Gain a bunch of life from
Shepherd's Horn
2. Raise copies of
Dawnwalker from the Void
3. Discard a bunch of cards from your deck (hopefully including more of
Dawnwalker)
Since
Dawnwalker also has Overwhelm, recurring it in this way will cause you to gain even more life and discard even more cards; the end result is that you have a big board of tough units, a high life total, and the option of decking yourself by playing lots of Overwhelm units to deal a burst of damage to your opponent.
The inclusion of
Friendly Wisp and
Wisdom of the Elders allows you to dig deeper for
Shepherd's Horn and
Means to an End, along with providing more meaty midrange threats in the event that you can't reach these pieces.
