discussion: an alternative build of this deck might go the charge route (Vicious Highwayman/Bandit Queen/Whirling Duo), but I found it to feel pretty trash when your deck isn't built around a density of on-curve slingers
while it might be tempting to include more interactive spells, the ratio of creatures/equipment is too important for Answer the Call
The ShiftstonedEternal Power Calculator is a deck-building tool that visualizes your odds of drawing enough Influence and Power based specifically on the cards found in your deck.
On the topic of answer-the-call odds, I've found it helpful to have a few copies of the red monument. You do already have a lot of depleted power though, so up to you. Has bulletshaper been good enough for you? I've played a similar deck and found that I often didn't have any spells that I wanted to discard, since so much of the deck is units and weapons.
I like the idea of playing weapons with summon abilities, so I might try something close to this deck.
yea Bulletshaper has been o.k., i was looking at it from the perspective that we really want at least 4-8 ramping effects to get us to Answer The Call and i don't think there are many other options given this shell. when it works, Bulletshaper can have some pretty nice chains like playing a Hideout Pistol on the same turn as it, or getting down another gunslinger like Stella, the Shotcaller
it's really a shame there isn't a 'echo' or similar spell effect for FJS, like Unstable Form and Jotun Hurler that would allow us to include more spells while not actually including more spells.

maybe its worthwhile to up the Copperhall Bracers numbers instead
