Don't you hate having trouble getting to the right influence? Don't you hate depleted power? Don't you hate getting flooded or screwed on power?
Fear not, friend! I have just the right deck for you. All powers you will ever play will range from sigil-levels of undepleted to pure gasoline. And your non-powers? Most of them either replace themselves or get you a decent body on the field. The fact that you only need to care about your power count and none of that influence crap other decks worry about helps a lot with consistency.
3 cost 7/7?
Prism Golem! Sometimes even out on turn 2 if you happen to draw him immediately after playing a
Tempting Offer.
Caiphus, Wandering King is a beast and works well in here.
Replicator Engine thins your deck (lol) and makes sure that you have blockers and a discard for
Undercover Enforcer. And all in all, all that fuels your
Cast Iron Furnace for even more big beaters.
Varret, Hero-in-Training is just a great 2-drop, and
Snipe is literally a maindeck Snowball, which is most definitely the best card in the game. Finally, as a warning, never plunder away non-power with
Valkyrie Emulator, no matter how bad it is. A colored sigil is worse.
Unlike most Midrange decks, you don't play a lot of interaction/removal, which means that you have to rely on your evasion, wits and luck in order to prevent your opponent from overwhelming you. 6 is the magic number where all of your deck is fully operational. And you will actually swim in resources by that point, generating advantage, tempo or both with each and every one of your plays. Your goal is to bring out an intimidating board as soon as possible and then... then you just need to pretend that boardclears do not exist in this game.
For real though, your only protection against board clears is the Queen of Glass you get from
The Speaking Circle that you get with
Wasteland Broker most of the time, and maybe a very lucky pull from the site's agenda.
In case you didn't notice, this deck is pure jank and a lot harder to pilot than it's worth. But it's fun to pull it off, and it certainly is a funny deck to bust out against the AI or unassuming opponents on ladder.
