Navani x Diogo OTP
The goal of this deck is to generate as much sheer
volume as possible. No, not 'value', that's what good decks do.
Navani, Warsinger with a
Warhelm is one of the oldest tricks in the book, but it used to be a major one-trick pony of a deck because, well, what else goes well with that card?
Well.
Amilli, Cloudmarshal.
Jekk, Hunted Fugitive.
Kyojun, Grand Shugo, even. He makes lategame Oni Ronins more valuable by existing and has Warcry 3 while wearing a hat. Plus, let's not underestimate what generating 4/3 Warcriers can do for your board. This guy's been impressing me lately, to be real. That said, this guy's the most optional in the list, don't feel bad subbing him out.
And after that, there's always been the question of just... You're in Rakano. How do you draw the cards you just made huge?
...
Waker of Ancients is a pretty potent move if you're running critical mass of units, since Warcry basically guarantees she gets to happen every odd turn.
But even then, you need to cast them, and if you're running maximal units, you're not running ramp. How do you plan on--
Oh right
Sower of Dissent is a card now. That's not a bad idea.
Well, then you're splashing Time. What else does that even get you?
... Oh. You're putting in
Diogo Málaga. I see. I like the way you think.
Copperhall Bailiff makes reckless swinging safer. 4 of
Vanquish takes care of everything that's still a threat. You're running
Icaria, the Liberator because you're a mid-late deck with Fire and Justice in it, of course you are. Also, the thought of making her cheaper and then warping her in is absolutely hysterical.
Season to taste with
Purify, cards like
Protect or even
Stand Together if you're removal-paranoid, and
Valkyrie Enforcer depending on your meta pocket and watch the nonsense roll.
