...And he keeps coming back. The idea of this deck is fairly simple; get
Caiphus, Wandering King on the field, and bring him back with
Dark Return. This plan secures the lategame against most threats, as a 5/5 with 6 to 9 skills will likely have some relevant keywords.
Cauldron Cookbook and
Scale Seeker both help this deck draw out its threats and/or enough power to play them. (The latter has a bonus of summoning a sweet dragon; you can't go wrong with a 5/5 flier) Of note in the Market, recurring a
Statuary Maiden once or twice is a good way to dunk the ever-popular Haunted Highway decks, and
Combust is a good emergency maneuver to get rid of a huge threat immediately.
Naturally, this deck isn't perfect, but it's at least good enough to tussle in higher Masters.Optimizing the deck probably starts with finding something better than
Champion of Chaos for a supporting 3 drop.Sometimes she eats a bite out of a durdly deck, but sometimes she eats a Torch upon entry. Lastly, keep a note that this deck isn't the fastest one around, so combo decks need to be interfered with means other than straight aggressive play for the most part.
