The latest iteration of a midrange deck with
Cirso's Cleaver.
Rhysta, Acantha's Herald is an aggressive unit that bridges you to your top end of Vara, Vengeance Seeker and
Rindra, the Duskblade, and the Nightfall cards function as your source of card draw. Giving your 4 drops and warcry'd units berserk lets you get in for big lifeswings, and 8 ambush units in
Ayan, the Abductor and Ebon Valley Smuggler give you a lot of flexibility in playing around sweepers or setting up good combats.
Although Cleaver is in the Black Market,
Disjunction can act as your second copy if you ever need it. Even in old lists with
Cirso's Cleaver, I never found you needed more than one to set up big swings in the late game, so only having 1-2 copies is fine.
I'm going to try to make room for
Display of Knowledge, since I think it can make good use of the Quickdraw mode, but without having any relics mainboarded it seems too inefficient and reactive. Other than that the deck is pretty good, and should be enjoyable for fans of Xenan Killer-style decks.
Update:
Deck got me to Masters pretty quickly. Overall pretty solid and fun to play,
Rhysta, Acantha's Herald is surprisingly good and probably one of the better cards for heavy-shadow midrange to bridge the phases of the game.
Cirso's Cleaver is always amazing and always leads to very favourable swings, but it feels right in the Black Market.
